CST has successfully converted more than 20 older Lüscher wax JetScreen machines to CST Digital Light Processing technology. After the initial positive technical assessment of the mechanical integrety of the Lüscher machine, all motors, drives, electronics, wiring, complete image head assembly, etc. will be replaced with CST components. The Lüscher machines are being stripped down to the bare frame work and all wiring, electronics, motors, controls, imaging head with imaging bridge, etc. will be exchanged. The complete conversion will take approximately 2 - 3 weeks which includes working and training time at customer’s facility. During the conversion, the Lüscher JetScreen cannot be used for production.
After completion of CST’s technical intervention, comprehensive technology knowhow transfer and training is provided.
Please see some photos of converted Lüscher wax JetScreen (click here).
Only vertical Lüscher JetScreens (not older, angled machines) qualify for a CST DLP conversion, digital photos of each Lüscher machine depicting the following machine assemblies are required:
- Overall view of all machine sides
- Screen clamping devices (applies mainly to angled Lüscher machines)
- General and close-up views of x and y-linear rails, including spindle drive, spindle supports, drive guides
- Close-up of imaging head assembly and bridge
- Close-up of top and bottom mounting suspension
- Close-up of belt drive and vertical drive guides for the head assembly
In addition, we need:
- EXACT measurements of x and y linear rails
- Year of manufacture and serial number
